Meet Lily Wolf, MSSA, LISW
She/Her
Hello and welcome! Many clients come to me with the desire to break free from the misery created by an eating disorder. I’m passionate about helping people find out for themselves what recovery can look like in their own lives. Eating disorders are so tough on both the mind and body, and they affect every part of your life. Constant thoughts about food and body can prevent you from feeling confident, connecting in your relationships, staying present in work/school, and so much more. I want for you to be able to go about your day without having to experience that guilt about your last meal, or anxiety about the next one. Or maybe you'd like to be more present with the people most important in your life, and rebuild connections where the eating disorder created distance. Recovery journeys look different for everyone and they come with their own set of unique challenges, but one very important thing to remember is that recovery is absolutely possible. I work with people with a variety of eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). I’m a body-positive and Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned therapist, which means my work is inclusive to those of all body sizes and I do not equate weight with health. I help you work toward accepting yourself and your body as you are, because dieting and intentional weight loss are not the answer. I work best with people who are so tired of dealing with the everyday challenges of their eating disorder that they are willing to try something new. I know new things can be intimidating, but we’re in this together and I’m happy to be your guide.
